Squad
Squad: a practical logistics guide
Squad is a tactical milsim on Windows PC. The loop lives in large maps with infantry, vehicles, and squad leaders. This page stays on logistics around Al Basrah, with a Squad Leader plan you can actually use in Invasion.
logistics is the first decision, not the last
Al Basrah in Squad is not a screenshot. It is a timing problem. Players lose armor pushes because they walk in without a Squad Leader job. Spend thirty seconds naming your job: logistics, a backup route toward Narva, and a rule for when Invasion stops being worth the risk.
Large maps with infantry, vehicles, and squad leaders. That fantasy only helps if you keep comms as a second track. When the lobby is loud, shrink your plan. One Squad Leader task done well beats a full checklist you abandon after the first armor pushes.
Audio, spacing, and armor pushes on Windows PC
Invasion on Squad asks different questions than RAAS. If you queue both in one night, you will mix rules. Lock Invasion for the first block. Practice logistics on Al Basrah until the timing feels boring. Then, if you still have time, swap to Narva instead of inventing a new identity.
On Windows PC, keep the client simple: fullscreen or borderless, a stable frame rate, and keybinds you can hit during armor pushes. Easy Anti-Cheat updates and game patches both reset that calm. After a client update, confirm the game launches clean before you treat a bad session as a skill issue.
A Squad Leader plan you can finish
Start as a Squad Leader. On Al Basrah, your first minute should already include logistics. If that minute fails, leave or reset — do not farm a doomed armor pushes because ego is cheaper than a new queue. Squad punishes players who stay in one fight too long.
End the session with two notes only: what Al Basrah taught you about logistics, and whether Invasion still matches your energy. Tomorrow you can rotate to Narva or try RAAS. The point is a repeatable tactical milsim habit, not a highlight.
Keep a second tab handy for later sessions with further notes.
